Upon scheduling an appointment with Des Moines Therapeutic Massage, your selected date and time are exclusively reserved for you. In the event of an unforeseen circumstance preventing your attendance, we request that you arrange for a replacement or adhere to the outlined payment procedures.

To enhance your scheduling flexibility, we recommend establishing your own Massage Team, a group of individuals who can assume your appointment if you are unable to attend. Consider treating them to a thoughtful gesture, such as an early or late birthday present, an anniversary gift, or a personalized token of appreciation.

Failure to attend a scheduled appointment, whether due to forgetfulness or a personal choice, will be deemed a "no-show," and charges will be applied accordingly. Exceptions may be made for genuine emergencies, with subsequent appointments requiring upfront payment.

GIFT VOUCHERS

Should you fail to attend your appointment or neglect to cancel within 24 hours, the associated gift voucher becomes invalid.

SAME DAY APPOINTMENTS

Gift vouchers are not applicable for same-day appointments. All appointments made on the same day will be billed at the full price.

CANCELLATIONS/RESCHEDULING

You acknowledge the importance of canceling or rescheduling appointments at least 24 hours in advance.

A fee of $50 or 50% of the full session rate (whichever is greater) is applicable if less than 24 hours' notice is given.

The full session rate is applicable for cancellations within 2 hours or less, or for missed appointments without notice.

In the event of a contagious illness or sudden health emergency within 12 hours of the session, prompt notification to Des Moines Therapeutic Massage is required, or an alternative individual must be arranged.

ARRIVING ON TIME/SESSION LENGTH

To maximize your scheduled session time, please arrive 10-15 minutes early. If you arrive on time or late, you will be charged for the full session duration.

Effective communication before, during, or after your massage is essential for an optimal experience. Kindly share any needs, preferences, requests, or feedback promptly. Honest communication ensures that your therapist can make necessary adjustments to guarantee the best massage therapy for you.
