Once you have scheduled an appointment with Des Moines Therapeutic Massage. You are now on our calendar. The day and time you selected has been reserved for you and you only. If for any unpredictable situation you cannot make it, please find someone else to take your spot or pay as outlined below.

We suggest having your own Massage Team, Find a group of people who can take your spot if you cannot come. You can treat them as a early. (or late) birthday present, anniversary gift, or name-that-flavor gift. You've got this! Woohoo!

Anyone who either forgets or chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show” and will be charged for the appointment. Exceptions for emergencies may be considered. If they wish to schedule another appointment, they will pay at time of scheduling.

                                  GIFT VOUCHERS

If you do not come for your appointment or do not cancel within 24 hours, the gift voucher is no longer available for you to use.

                         SAME DAY APPOINTMENTS

Gift vouchers are not accepted for same day appointments.

All appointments made on the same day will be charged full price.

                    CANCELLATIONS/RESCHEDULING

>> If you know you will not able to make a scheduled appointment, you agree to cancel or reschedule the appointment 24 hours in advance. 

>> You agree to pay $50 or 50% of the full session rate (whichever is greater) if you give less than 24 hours’ notice.

>> You agree to pay the full session rate if you give 2 hours’ notice or less, or if you miss an appointment without giving notice. 

>> If within 12 hours of your session, you develop a contagious illness or have a sudden, unplanned health or personal emergency rendering you unable to make your appointment, you will inform Des Moines Therapeutic Massage right away or find someone else to fill that appointment. Massage Team #1 please!

               ARRIVING ON TIME/SESSION LENGTH

>> Please arrive 10-15 minutes early for your appointment in order to get the full session time that you have scheduled. If you arrive on time or late, understand the therapist can only give you whatever time remains of your appointment, and that you will pay for the full length of the session that you booked.

>> You understand that in order to receive the best massage therapy possible, you have to communicate anything and everything, including your needs, preferences, requests, or feedback, at any time before, during, or after your massage. You take it upon yourself to communicate right away if there is anything distracting you or if you feel unwell or uncomfortable at any time during the session so the therapist can make adjustments. You understand that your therapist wants your honest feedback - positive or negative to ensure that you receive the BEST massage.
